Installation

1. Download and extract

Extract the downloaded ZIP file to any location. Once extracted, it contains the following files.

• DirectoryInfinicamQuick_pilot_xxxxxxxx

  • DirectoryInfinicamQuick/ The software itself

    • …
  • vc_redist.x64.exe Visual C++ runtime installer

Caution

Do not run the software from inside the ZIP file — be sure to extract it first.

2. Install the runtime

On a PC where this is the first install, install the following two items in order. Administrator privileges are required for installation.

Visual C++ runtime

Double-click vc_redist.x64.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

If it is already installed, a “Repair” / “Uninstall” screen will appear. In that case, you can simply click Close to exit.

Tip

If the installer asks you to restart the PC, go ahead and restart.

3. Place and launch the software

1. Copy the InfinicamQuick folder to any location (for example, C:\InfinicamQuick).

2. Double-click InfinicamQuick.exe inside the folder to launch it.

   

3. Installation is complete once the main screen appears.

Caution

InfinicamQuick.exe relies on the DLLs and subfolders in the same folder to run. If you move or copy only the exe file to a different location, it will not start. Always keep the entire folder together.

Tip

If you want to launch it from the desktop, right-click the exe, choose Create shortcut, and move the resulting shortcut to your desktop.
